Psilocybe zapotecorum has a long history of spiritual use in Mexico and occurs throughout Central and South America. These spores are from Yoshi and originate from a cultivated source, not a wild collection. The original wild spores came from a collection made by Jordan Jacobs and Alan Rockefeller in Cinco Palos, Vera Cruz, Mexico in 2022.
